The PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation Level provides an introduction to the PRINCE2 methodology and terms.
With PRINCE2 Foundation you get an introduction to the PRINCE2 method. It is designed to provide you with sufficient knowledge and understanding, to the PRINCE2 method well enough to be able to work effectively with, or as a member of, a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2. The Foundation certification is also a prerequisite for the Practitioner certification.
Who is PRINCE2 Foundation for:
The PRINCE2® Foundation Certification is suitable for individuals who want to demonstrate they have sufficient understanding of the PRINCE2 methodology and can work effectively as part of a team or with a project management team within a PRINCE2 supporting environment.
The PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate is also a pre-requisite for individuals wishing to achieve the PRINCE2 Practitioner or the PRINCE2 Agile® certification.
A comprehensive set of tasks help provide a practical application of the method. Despite being Foundation level, there are a number of scenario-based objective-test style questions to help delegates understand how the method is applied to a project scenario. This adds further value to the course and helps delegates obtain a richer understanding of PRINCE2 and how it would be applied in a given project scenario, as well as better prepare them if they ever choose to go on to take the Practitioner exam in the future.
Delegates attending this course should expect at least 1-hour of practical evening work during the first 2 days, to help with their continuous learning and consolidation, which includes attempting sample Foundation exam questions to help test their understanding and with their preparation for the exam.
