The SYSOP difference

ITIL® official syllabus courses and other core publications exist to educate participants about IT Best Practice – teaching them the content of the official guidance and testing their learning by examination.

The courses concentrate on “the what”, rather than “the how” of IT service management best practice.

Sadly, all too often when the focus is on the official syllabus, students return to the workplace under-equipped to deal with the challenges of bringing about change and putting the theory into practice.

Dealing with the challenges

That's where SYSOP courses are different...

Practical Training to address specific needs and change behaviour

Real Training, not just education...

Sysop firmly believes that the primary purpose of training is to change behaviour in the workplace.

We carry that purpose into the classroom in the delivery of our IT Best Practice examination courses and into our overall product set.

That means we offer practical workshops tailored to the specific needs of our client organisations.

But don't just take our word for it - take a look at what our students say...

  • “I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for the ITIL training at HP in Newcastle 3 weeks ago. I received my results today and am happy to report that I passed with a score of 31. I hope the lack of beer in Saudi isn't too bad and just think of the enjoyment of your first pint of real ale when you get back on British soil. ”

  • “Very enjoyable course, Michelle is a very polished trainer and as very good in her delivery, knowledge and understanding”

  • “Thank you very much. I love coming here (even if not that often).”

  • “Wee presented. Great sibject Knowledge. Approachable Discussions. Happy to take questions.”

  • “Michelle is a credit to your company and has been praised by everyone who has worked with her for her knowledge, skills and above all else, patience! I have had a relationship with Sysop for several years now and am delighted that we can take this further and engage in the most significant ITIL project NWL has undertaken to date. Together, I’m sure we’ll get there! ”
