ITIL® Service Design for System Architects

Introduction

This short-day workshop is designed for experienced IT professionals working in System Architecture or Design who require an understanding of the ITIL Service Design phase of the ITIL core Lifecycle, and how it may be implemented to enhance the quality of IT service provision within an organisation. It explores IT Service Design and draws upon service management best practice guidance documented in the ITIL® Service Design core volume.

It does not lead to an accredited qualification and therefore has no qualification pre-requisites.

It is particularly suitable for: CIOs, CTOs, managers, supervisory staff, team leaders, designers, architects, planners, IT consultants, IT audit managers, IT security managers, service test managers and ITSM trainers.

The workshop covers the purpose, management and control of the activities and techniques of Service Design, but not the detail of each of the supporting processes. Attendees will gain a practical insight into how good service design can enhance the quality of IT service provision within an organisation.
