Terms and Conditions
Bookings & Confirmation
Once a reservation has been made, SYSOP will confirm acceptance of the booking by email - usually within one working day.
Approximately four weeks prior to the event SYSOP will send out Joining Instructions which will include a course outline, a map and directions.
Payment Terms
Invoices will be issued one month before the start of the course and should be paid before the course start date.
Cancellations
Notice of cancellations MUST be in writing and received more than 20 working days prior to the start date of the event to ensure eligibility of a full refund.
Cancellations with more than 10 working days notice but less than 20 will attract a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 10 working days notice attract the full fee.
Cancellation charges are subject to a minimum fee of £95.00.
SYSOP will not cancel a course simply because there are low numbers however, we do reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course at anytime in the case of circumstances beyond our control.
Transfers
Delegates may transfer to other events, without penalty, as long as SYSOP are given at least 20 working days notice. Transfers requested with less than 20 working days notice will incur an administration charge of 10%.
SYSOP reserve the right to treat transfers to another event, within 10 working days, as a cancellation. Substitution of delegates may be made at anytime without charge.
Personal Belongings
SYSOP cannot accept liability for any personal belongings. This is the sole responsibility of the owner.
Hotel Accommodation
SYSOP has negotiated favourable terms with a number of local hotels and, if you wish, SYSOP will book the hotel on your behalf and include this on your course booking invoice. You will be responsible for settling any bill for extras (such as drinks & bar snacks) directly with the hotel. Sysop will levy a £10 administration charge if extras have to be recovered separately.
Refreshments
All scheduled courses include light refreshments and lunch (chef’s choice).
If students have a particular preference, for example vegetarian, please let us know in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Copyright
All SYSOP documentation is covered by Copyright. Each course attendee will receive an in-depth course manual, which will serve as a useful reference and revision document to aid on-the-job training.
Liability
SYSOP endeavours to ensure that all the information on this Website is correct. However, we cannot accept liability for any error or omission.
SYSOP reserve the right to make changes to scheduled courses, and where appropriate the Client will be given notice of this.
Examinations
Examinations in Infrastructure Management: Service Management, the Foundation Certificate and the Practitioner certificates are under the control of the I.S.E.B. Candidates should ensure that they meet the relevant examination conditions and pre-requisites before making a booking. |
