Stuart Sawle

In a long and successful career in IT, spanning over 40 years, Stuart has achieved a reputation for his uncompromising approach to quality. In 1985, Stuart founded Sysop - creating an enviable track record as one of the most highly achieving trainers in the ITIL Service Management disciplines.

Stuart is a Fellow of IMIS and served as Chairman of the Institute (1994-97). He was also co-opted onto the ISEB ITIL Management Board, the ISEB main board and the BCS CPD committee.

Paul Wilkinson

Paul has worked in the IT Industry for over 25 years and has been actively involved in ITSM for over 15 years. He was a project team leader for the original BITE (Business IT Excellence) ITIL process-modelling initiative instigated by the CCTA (now known as the OGC).

Paul was co-author of the ITIL publication “Planning to Implement IT Service Management” and has been a quality reviewer on a number of ITIL publications and has recently worked on the advisory group for ITIL Version 3. Paul is a director of Gaming Works, the company renowned for ‘Apollo 13 – an ITSM case experience’. He is also co-author and cartoonist for the itSMF ‘Worst practice’ publication “IT Service management from Hell”.

Gregory Lefort

Greg Lefort is Managing Director of Staff & Line (UK). Staff & Line have been operating in the UK market for just over a year. They are recognised in the wider European context as the leader in the Service Management tools. Greg will demonstrate why so many traditional Service Management tools fail to deliver value; how and why they need to operate in in close co-operation with IT assets; and how the next generation of tools will fill this vital but missing area - gently encouraging best practice; and pragmatically guiding staff through accurate processes.

Dave Haslam

Dave Haslam is the UK Technical Director for Hitachi Data Systems. In this role, Dave is responsible for implementing Hitachi Data Systems’ strategy for the marketing and sales of its enterprise and mid-range RAID Storage Area Network (SAN), Network-Attached Storage (NAS) as well as Storage Area Management and Enterprise Management software products. Dave has over 30 years experience in IT and storage both as a user and a vendor, his expertise includes, application design and development, systems design, advanced storage systems, storage network technologies as well as commercial and market analysis. He is an extremely knowledgeable and witty speaker, renowned for his no-nonsense approach and disarming candour.

Ole Westegaard

Ole Westergaard is CEO of the Westergaard Group of ITSM consulting and competence companies in Denmark and Sweden. Westergaard is the biggest specialised ITSM company in its region, and the customer base spans from private to public, from large to small. Its consultants and instructors cover all the competencies and experiences needed to take full responsibility for any ITSM related project, and its standards, methods and tools provide a fast path to ITIL processes that work.

Warren Dakin

Warren is responsible for the Service Management division within SYSOP and has been the driving force behind developing the division into the largest independent ISEB Service Management accredited training and consultancy company within the UK.

He has worked in the IT industry for nearly 30 years and has held his ITIL Manager’s certificate since 1994. Warren is unwavering in his passion and enthusiasm for IT Service Management. In addition to delivering accredited ITIL training with remarkable success, he has guided organizations, in both the public and private sector to implement and deliver ITIL “Best practice principles and processes” with real tangible business benefits.
