Apollo 13 Simulation Game - Slicker ITIL conference 2008

We ran a special 2 round version of the Apollo 13 simulation game at the Slicker ITIL conference 17-18 June 2008. There were two games running simultaneously and both saw the game players move from a state of confusion and chaos, in round 1, to control and calm in round 2 The charts below show the KPI’s measured at the end of each round.

Round One

Round one results (warren) In round 1 team “Slicker ITIL(Warren)” did not achieve SLA in solving rate and Average solving time, team “Slicker ITIL(Geoff)” also fell below SLA for process, at the end of this round both teams were despondent.

Round Two

Round two results (geoff) In round 2 both teams achieved SLA in all areas. Team “Slicker ITIL (Warren)” saw the greatest improvement in crew safety. Where "Slicker ITIL(Geoff)" made the greatest improvements in solving rate, average solving time and process score.
