Apollo 13

Description

The “Apollo 13 – an ITSM case experience™” is a simulation game that enables ITIL ® theory to be put in to practice. In this one day event participants will recognise and appreciate the benefits of adapting “best practice”. Game players will experience, for themselves, the results of not applying a process and the success of applying the process.

Improving Team work and Team processes

Situation: Working effectively with IT service management processes such as ITIL ® means that people from different IT units must work together as a team. However people are not used to working across organisational units and boundaries and do not always see the need or understand their role in the end-to-end process. In the Apollo 13 simulation game the participants are only successful in achieving their objectives if they agree and apply team working practices.
